Air Drilling Associates is an international company that provides drilling services for the oil and geothermal industries. For our operations in Indonesia, we are urgently seeking qualified candidates for the following position:
DRILLING FLUIDS ENGINEER – OPERATIONS departmentRequirements:
- University degree in Petroleum Engineering
- Minimum 3 years work experience in the drilling industry in similar position
- Experience in writing drilling procedures and particularly in the drilling fluids program
- Proven record of monitoring, measuring and adjusting drilling fluids to drilling problems
- Knowledge of fluid chemistry management, testing procedures and reporting
- Experience in drilling of geothermal wells would be an advantage
- Knowledge of drilling with aerated fluids, foam and mist would be an advantage
- Fluent in English (both written and oral)
- Excellent computer skills, with focus on Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Experience in preparing and delivering presentations
- Preferably female and below 35 years old
- Willingness to travel to remote locations for onsite advice and training
