URGENTLY REQUIRED
PT Kasongan Bumi Kencana is developing a modern Gold Mine in Central Kalimantan, due for commissioning by the end of 2011. It wants to build up its professional management team in the Jakarta Head Office and on site with the following Administration positions:
SENIOR MINE (PLAN) ENGINEERPreferred qualifications :
Minimum Bachelors degree or equivalent in mine engineering. S2 or masters degree preferred. Beneficial to have KTT or quarry / mine manager certification.
Preferred experience / skills :
- Minimum 5-10 years working on open pit hard rock gold projects.
- Competent with Micromine or Surpac mine design and mine planning software.
- Competent with Whittle or other optimization software.
- High level of competence using standard MS software
- Proven track record of successfully managing mine engineering teams
- High level of competence in report writing in English.
- Able to speak Indonesian and English
Job Description:
- Coordinate the various aspects of mine engineering on site, including design, planning and development, geotechnical, water management, tailings dam construction, haul roads, waste dumps, rehabilitation, and production reconciliation.
- Responsible for short, medium, and long term scheduling
- Responsible for productivity and cost analysis and reporting
- Participate in day-to-day operational decision making process and provide advice to the site manager.
