DRILLING SUPERVISOR

 

POSITION PURPOSE:

The Drilling Supervisor is responsible for coordination of drilling programs

ROLES:

Supervise the safety of all personal and machinery involved in all day to day operations.

Supervise nippleing up of well head and BOP’S and also casing leak of testsw.

Direct supervision and successful implementation of all drilling operations in accordance with good industry practice

Monitor and report non-productive time, investigate and implement improvements to minimise non-productive time and total well drilling/completion times

Supervise work over and work over fishing operation

Supervise well head and surface facility’s installations

Monitor well equipment

Supervise the lay down Aera and workshop state of neatness and tideness

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Bachelor Degree in Petroleum, Geologist, Mechanical

Minimum 10 years of drilling experiences in oil and gas/mining industry

Industry specific courses and training such as Blow Out Prevention and Well Control Certificate, Permit to Work

Senior first aid certificate

Self-motivated, team work oriented, able to work under tight schedules.

This position will require at field work back to back by the incumbent
