Civil Site Preparation Supervisor/SuperintendentPosition wanted: Civil Site Preparation Superintendent/Supervisor
Roles and Responsibilities:- Supervise and monitor at a permanent basis construction activities of the Contractors related to hisdiscipline (structure/piping/civil works).- Ensure the construction, installation and hook-up activities of Contractors to ascertain that the plantwill be built as per specifications, approved drawings and procedures.- Responsible at Yard or Site, for the day to day Supervision and Quality Control of structural / piping/ QC activities, including NDE.- Ensure that Contractors are following all the Company rules in matters of Safety and Environment.
Activities:- Responsible for daily operational activities within his discipline or department- Report to related Superintendent on daily basis- To Review weekly progress and agree weekly plan ahead with his hierarchy- To assist the Superintendent to ensure Compliance with Total Indonesies Safety objectivesthroughout the life of the project.- To ensure that in addition to quality and good engineering practice, planning and cost must be apermanent concern.- To make a good judgement / arbitrage between different disciplines, the only criteria being thebenefit of the overall project.- To maintain good relationships with Contractors, being flexible enough but also strict whennecessary to achieve the objectives of the Project.- To liaise with Other disciplines, Safety, Cost, Planning and Administration sections to improveeffectiveness of Team- Keep informed the Superintendt or Company Site Representative of all events which may effect thesuccessful completion of the project goals.- Involve in controlling the use of materials that have been allocated to the project- Ensure seamless job continuity with back to back in maintaining good line of communication- Continually review and take necessary measure of work improvement by ensuring compliance withProject requirements- Perform job risk assessment prior to work commencement- Maintain high standard of safe working practice, quality and productivity by complying to Projectcode of conduct
Minimum Qualification / ExpĂ©rience:- Typically 5 year’s relevant experience.- Recognized level of expertise in Discipline.- Significant responsibility in multi-discipline teams or projects.- Fluent spoken and written English
