We have been retained by a multinational coal mining company to recruit top talents for their ambitious growth and expansion plans.

JUNIOR/SENIOR SURVEYOR

(Position: Sumatera/Kalimantan)

Role/Responsibilities:

• Conducts surveys at surface and subsurface mine sites to obtain data used in planning mining operations.
• Directs survey technicians and helpers in use of electronic surveying equipment, light emitting systems, or other instruments to transfer surface survey positions and directions to underground areas and to survey assigned sections.
• Computes data necessary for driving and connecting underground passages to control direction and extent of mining operation.
• Computes volume of coal or mineral in portions of mine, using survey data.
• Responsible for Volume Calculations of Overburden for the Billing of Contractor every month; Stockpile Survey.
• Actively Participated in Mine Planning, Development and Production Areas.
• Responsible for Updating & Maintaining Statutory Mine Plans and Sections; Dump planning & Dump survey; Planning & Marking of Blast holes.
• May conduct surveys of tunnels, subway sites, and underground storage facilities.

 

Requirements:

• 3 - 8 years in position relevant to the education.
• High level of proficiency in written and spoken English is essential.
• Skilled in operating related mining software.
