METHOD & PROCEDUR SUPERINTENDENTRoles & Responsibilities:- Organize and conduct monitoring programs to assess and report the status of Contractorsand COMPANY HSE performance during the lifecycle of the designated project, includingCommissioning activities- Support HSE talks periodic performance- Provide safety briefing to new project’s personnel- Ensure contractor’s equipments safety inspection- Advise and assist Project Senior & Line Management, Superintendents and Supervisorsconcerning HSE issues to ensure project activities and personnel operate within Companypolicies- Review & comment on project procedures and ensure adequate risk assessmentrequirements have been carried out, monitor compliance with implementation of procedures,risk assessments and work permit controls are being applied in Yard Facilities and onCompany Sites on designated project.- Supervise team of site M&P Supervisors assigned to the project to ensure Contractors andCOMPANY safety performance during Construction and Commissioning are monitored andapplied- Motivate line management (Construction/Commissioning) and main contractors to hold HSE inthe highest priority and to advance the development of a positive HSE culture, includingimprovements in Safety BehaviorActivities: To ensure:o implementation of CPY HSE Management Systemo personnel commitment to HSE matters and adherence to HSE objectiveso attendance of HSE committeeso safety of all personnel and minimize risk during operationso permit to work for all activitieso HSE meetingso Implementation / application of measures taken for risk reductiono protection of the environmental and social impact during operationso application of CTR Environment Management Plano site reinstatement Ensure for all personnelo availability of valid medical check-upo protective equipmentso health and industrial hygieneo occupational risk assessment (assisted by CPY doctor) Ensure CTR and sub CTR’so HSE commitment and competencyo respect of CPY procedures and site instructionso respect of contract exhibit L monitoring performance of HSE Plan Ensure personnel have performed adequate HSE training with valid certificates Ensureo implementation of Emergency Response Plan (bridged between CPY entities, CTR andsubCTR's)o medical support and emergency facilities at worksiteo In charge to conduct random emergency drills at worksite and produce CTRperformance reportincident investigation and reporto corrective actions implementationo anomaly reporting and analysis Contribute to audit or inspect CTR facilities during contract performance and to ensure that CTR audits sub-CTR facilities Ensureo CTR HSE improvement program implementationo CPY safety behaviour award plan implementationo CTR HSE promotion / improvement campaign (no comment campaign, HSE awards,etc.)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE SUPERINTENDENT LEVEL 4- Minimum Bachelor degree in engineering background, Master degree is recommended.- Minimum of 10 years experience in a similar position in oil & gas industry or petrochemicalssectors, with exposure to interpretation of multi-international codes and standards.- Evidence of appropriate formal training in key activities noted above.- Extensive knowledge of project activities including SIMOPS, Construction, Pipe laying, HookUp and Commissioning activities as well as a good understanding of production operations (liveprocess plant and the hazards associated with this).- Previous experience of over sea’s postings, experience in Asia would be an advantage- Proficient with oil and gas international codes and standards for the discipline,- Good knowledge of Total EP Specifications,- Good inter-personal skills, well organized, good written and oral communication skills includingEnglish language (language of the project) Bahasa Indonesia considered as a plus andcomputer literacy.- Ability to work on his / her own initiative but function as an integral part of a team; flexible andpro-active approach.
