HSES Superintendent (Health Safety and Security)Reporting to HSE Manager, this position will be accountable to assist HSES Manager in planning, developing and implementing the HSES Management System in accordance with BHPB HS&S Standards and Indonesian Statutory HSES requirements, to achieve company’s commitment to conduct all activities with a target of zero harm, as well as achieving government required permitting for the new Projects and Developments. Some responsibility with this position will be the implementation of a new management control system, so a strong background in management systems would be advantageous. This may include international travel during implementation phases of the contract.To be considered for this position, you must have competencies which include knowledge of HSE management and regulations; At least 8 years experience in mining exploration and operation industries; Exposure to best practice in mine HSES management and monitoring, studies, permitting and HSES management system; Good knowledge on International Management System such as ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards and regulations; Good knowledge on HSES impacts and or risks assessment; Leadership/Supervisory and ability to make decision under pressure; Good presentation and writing skills in English; Awareness of local culture and cross-cultural communication and understanding of Business Improvement Principles(Closing date: 25 September, 2011)
