Castlerock Consulting is seeking an individual to serve as Clean Energy Policy Component Manager forthe U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Indonesia Clean Energy Development project.The position is full time, available immediately, and will be for a period ending September 30, 2014. Theposition is based in Jakarta, Indonesia with travel to ICED field office in Medan, North Sumatra
CLEAN ENERGY POLICY COMPONENT MANAGER (code AA)The Clean Energy Policy Component Manager shall have the following minimum set of qualifications :
- At least 10 years experience in managing studies and technical assistance activities on renewable energy and energy conservation policy and program administration in both electricity and transportation sectors
- Have previous experience in working with the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Directorate General for New and Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation and Provincial Office of Energy and Mineral Resources;
- An advanced degree in economics, law, public policy or public administration
- Demonstrate experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams of consultants, including, but not limited to: preparing scopes of work, preparing activity work plans, setting and maintaining schedules, and integrating inputs in work products such as studies, workshops, training courses
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills, and experience working with government officials, businesses, and non-governmental organizations
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing in both Bahasa Indonesian and English.
