URGENTLY REQUIRED

Process and Safety Senior Engineer
  • Providing senior engineering expertise and assistance to the Project, Basic Engineering or Pre-project he is assigned to
  • Ensuring that the design is performed in compliance with the Company applicable referential and with the safety standards of the Group.

Activities:

  • Assist PJC management team to ensure that the PJC division safety objectives and requirements aremet.
  • Ensure that DGEP referential, for Process and for Safety Engineering, is enforced throughout Project phases he is assigned to.
  • Review and comment in due time engineering documents and drawings from the Contractors and Vendors of the Contracts he is assigned to, during all the phases of the Work.
  • Provide senior expertise and assistance to the Project teams for any technical/engineering issues related to his discipline: meetings with Contractors, follow-up of technical issues.
  • Perform Pre-project studies and prepare the required Pre-project deliverables (process report, input to SOR…).
  • Issue recommendations to Lead Discipline Engineer for Contractor’s and Vendor’s technical queries and deviations in compliance with the referential. Propose derogations to Lead Discipline Engineer as necessary.
  • Ensure close follow-up of the safety engineering reviews and technical audits (HAZOP, HAZID, PTR, SPOT…) and assist the Projects he is assigned to in preparing the answers to the audit findings.
  • Provide assistance, as requested, to the Commissioning teams of Projects he is assigned to.
  • Ensure proper interfaces with other entities, especially Field Operations, during the execution of the work.
  • Consolidates and prepare for logging into the Vendor Management System all relevant information, feedback for the Vendor of his discipline.
  • Proposes Quality feedback notices to the Lead Discipline Engineer for the relevant subjects. Participates in the consolidation of the discipline knowledge and feedback management.
  • Participate, as requested, in Vendors and Contractors qualification audits for his discipline.
  • Provide assistance to Project Team to for Inspection, Factory Acceptance Test at Vendor’s premises,Yard and Site activities.
  • Coordinate with Lead Discipline Engineer technical clarifications to Head Quarter discipline department (i.e. DEV/ED/ECP & ICS and HSE/SEI) and feed back for his discipline.
  • Coach and participate into the integration of new comers and Engineers level I & II of his discipline as applicable.
  • Be able to participate to technical audits of Projects managed by other TEPI entities as audit team member
  • Acting for Lead Discipline Engineer whenever required.

Accountabilities/ Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the implementation of the referential of his discipline for the projects he is assigned to.
  • Responsible for collecting feedback and lesson learnt on engineering practices and vendors.

Qualifications/ Experienced Required:

  • Engineering degree from a recognized University in the discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Oil and Gas sector for engineering in the Process discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years of Pre-project / pre FEED activity for Process discipline.
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken.
  • Proficient with Oil and Gas International Codes and Standards and software’s for the discipline.
  •  Previous experiences in Flow Assurance studies .
